The Teotihuacan Pyramids, located near Mexico City, are a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most significant archaeological complexes in Mexico. Dating back to around 100 BCE to 250 CE, Teotihuacan was once one of the largest cities in the ancient world, with a population estimated at over 100,000 inhabitants.
The city’s layout and architecture reflect a sophisticated understanding of urban planning and ceremonial symbolism.
